Dear students, we are grateful to you for all these interviews we've read on the site. At the same time we are sorry for being silent for so long. The reason is - problems with the access to the site. But today, as you see, we've menaged, thanks God. Next Thursday we'll get together to post our responses. Coming back to the interviews, their diversity makes the reading even more interesting, and the fact the intervieweers come to the conclusion Wars are a disaster and nonsense makes us think we, people, look eye to eye on this issue.
Tomorrow we are celebrating Victory Day, the victory over German fascists who turned the world upside down, having put it into rivers of blood, neverending pain, sorrow, grief, and deprived millions of people of their homes, families, lives. Russia still remembers, its impossible to forget, how many and much we lost in the war.We know that in many countries including America, people came out to join a Memory March, in Russia we call it Immortal March commemorated to all those who gave their lives to save the world from this "Brown Plague". We call this holiday The Holiday of Joy and Tears. Let it NEVER happen again!

Hi guys! Thank you very much for all the interviews. I know so little about the Cold War. That's why it was very interesting for me to read about it.
These interviews made me think about the hot war which finished 73 years ago. It was really hard time for people all over the world. Every family in Russia took part in it. Men, women, children, old people - everyone was helping their country to win. We will never forget how many lives the War took.
Every year we selebrate Victory Day on May, 9. It's an extremely important date to all of us. On this day I usually watch a parade in Moscow on TV with my family. Then we lay flowers to the Eternal Fire. In the evening we enjoy the spectacular fireworks and watch some films about the War (my mum always cries).
I wish there would be friendly relationships between America and Russia these days. Because I believe that friendship will save the world!
